Friend, I've been in politics a long time.

I got my start in local politics in Baton Rouge in the 1980s, worked my way up to Bill Clinton's 1992 presidential campaign, and since then I've worked on campaigns around the U.S. and the world. But here's the thing:

I have never seen a political party as cuckoo as the GOP today.

From extending Trump's tax breaks for the wealthy to chipping away at our fundamental rights like voting and accessing health care, the GOP of today is threatening our very democracy.

But, friend, it gets worse. Republicans took back the House last year, so a lot of what they're planning could actually happen.

That's why this is urgent. We NEED to take back the House and hold on to our Senate majority next year, and in order to do that, we have to start NOW.

At American Bridge, our mission is to hold Republicans accountable and DEFEAT them at the ballot box. But we can't do it without you, friend. That's why I set a goal to raise $10,000 by midnight, so I am asking personally: Please, can you rush $15 or more to American Bridge right now to build up our resources so we can stop Republicans like Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis and Kevin McCarthy in their tracks?
