Dear Reader,

Recurring gifts make up almost half of our donor base and keep us ready to report on what’s happening in the Pittsburgh region. They’re a crucial part of the lifeblood that sustains our newsroom. But so far in 2023, 29 recurring members have ended their gifts. Many have told us they still want to support us, but are facing financial difficulties and had to end their giving against their will.

If you’re in a position to step up for information access in our region, can you help us fill this gap?

Yes, I'll start a monthly gift.
If you’ve ever shared one of our stories with a friend, appreciated the perspective of a community member in the first-person essays we publish or just felt more informed about something happening in our communities after reading something from PublicSource, now is the time to show your support and keep this work going.

Plus, making a gift of $7 or more per month qualifies you to receive our newly redesigned tote bag!
A person with a mustache and goatee wearing a long sleeved shirt and jeans stands with a tote bag over their shoulder. The tote is filled with a bouquet of flowers. The tote reads PUBLICSOURCE: Journalism for a better Pittsburgh and shows images of a person in a wheelchair, a person in a headscarf holding the hands of two children, a person running, and a person carrying a stack of books.
Thanks in advance for any support you’re able to give.
