No more playing defense, I'm going on offense.

Cheri Bustos, the leader of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, is spending over $1 million on television ads airing in Texas RIGHT NOW to spread lies and misinformation about the voting records of me and my Republican colleagues. This is on top of Bustos' announcement last week that our district, TX-02, is now one of their prime targets for November.

They even sent Beto O'Rourke down to stump for my Democrat opponents - and it won't be the last time he is there.

Spending a million dollars on television ads more than 10 months before the general election is a serious offensive strike by Cheri Bustos against Texas. We cannot sit by while Democrats like Cheri and Beto lie to voters. We have to counter their vast resources with our own strong campaign - which is why I need your donation today. ([link removed])

But how do we go on the offense against Cheri Bustos and the national Democrats? By taking the fight to Cheri's district - the Illinois 17th. This is a district that voted for President Trump in 2016. We can absolutely defeat Cheri if the right candidate steps up to take her on. And good news - yesterday I met one of the most impressive Republican candidates running in the 2020 field.
Her name is Esther Joy King. Army Captain and JAG lawyer. Entrepreneur. Esther has what it takes to flip this pro-Trump district back to Republican hands, and become a leader of the conservative movement for the next generation.
