Howdy Friend,
Can you believe that there’s only 66 days left until sine die? In the past
few days, the legislature heard many bills from Senate Majority Leader
Cannizzaro’s bill that enshrines reproductive freedom in our State
Constitution, Assemblyman Nguyen’s bill that calls for financial literacy
in schools, Senator Scheible’s bill that fights for transgender
incarcerated persons rights.
Friend, there’s more. Assemblywoman Considine’s bill, [ [link removed] ]AB250,
makes prescription drugs affordable for all Nevadans! With the Inflation
Reduction Act, 565,000 Nevada seniors who are enrolled in Medicare will
soon enjoy the benefits of the negotiated prices of some of the most
expensive prescription medicines.Â
*Â When: Monday, April 3
*Â Time: 1:30PM
*Â Where: Assembly Commerce and Labor
However, about 2.5 million Nevadans are subjected to the full cost that
the pharmaceutical companies can charge us. [ [link removed] ]That’s why we need your
support for AB250!
This is where you come in, Friend. You can show up in Carson to
testify or you can testify in support via the phone!Â
To provide support testimony telephonically, dial (888) 475-4499
on Monday, April 3 at 1:30 PM. When prompted, provide Meeting

press #. To resolve any issues related to calling in to provide testimony,
please call (775) 684-6990.
You can also share your opinion on the bill by creating an account through
