URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Tell the USDA to hold Big Ag accountable for disregarding
animal welfare, misleading consumers, and attacking organic farming!

When organic shoppers look for the organic label, they are trusting that the
USDA has taken necessary steps to ensure the products are sourced from
sustainable farms that treat animals humanely.

But unlike most organic farmers who already meet the high-quality standards that consumers put
their faith in, Big Ag has been fighting against a USDA rule that would close an
important loophole -- even pushing the Trump administration to overturn this critical animal welfare rule in 2017.

It’s imperative that we keep the organic label strong to provide a necessary
alternative to factory farms that deprive helpless animals of outdoor access to fresh air, cramming them into tight spaces without enough room to move around, and even sometimes performing cruel and unnecessary physical alterations!

implementing the Organic Livestock and Poultry Standards rule (OLPS). The rule would ensure the humane treatment of animals on organic farms and give consumers the peace of mind that they deserve.
