DA Alvin Bragg is soft on real crime, but is choosing to target President Trump. The American people see this for what it is – a political witch hunt. House Republicans

Lesko Legislation to Condemn Cancellation of Keystone XL Pipeline Passes U.S. House

I am proud that my legislation to disapprove of President Joseph R. Biden’s decision to cancel the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline passed the U.S. House of Representatives. This legislation was included in H.R. 1, the Lower Energy Costs Act. President Biden’s move was nothing short of a disaster, and it was just the first in a long line of reckless energy policies. I am grateful to Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Majority Leader Steve Scalise for including this legislation in H.R. 1, and I am thankful for my colleagues who are standing up against the Biden Administration’s anti-energy agenda.

Lesko Investigates School Closures

Our schools are essential. Yet, while CDC data said that kids were at low risk from COVID-19 and other data showed that kids’ transmission rates to adults were low, schools still remained closed. I asked this and more in the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic. Watch below:

GET THE FACTS: House Republicans' Lower Energy Costs Act

For two years, President Biden and Congressional Democrats have waged an unprecedented war against American energy that has only worsened the cost of living crisis and stretched families' budgets. Since President Biden took office, Democrats' failed energy policies have increased electricity prices by 24%, utility gas prices by 44%, and gasoline prices by 51% while real rages dropped by 4%. House Republicans have delivered on one of our top priorities with H.R. 1, the Lower Energy Costs Act, which passed the U.S. House with bipartisan support. This critical legislation will unleash American energy and lower costs for families. Specifically, the legislation will increase domestic energy production, reform the permitting process and remove regulatory red tape, reverse the anti-American energy policies of the Biden Administration, streamline energy infrastructure and exports, and boost the production and processing of critical minerals. I was honored that my legislation to condemn President Biden's disastrous decision to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline was included in this monumental package. House Republicans are stepping up for the American people in the face of the Biden Administration's incompetent leadership. While H.R. 1 is a major win, there is still much work to be done to reverse the Democrats' anti-American energy agenda. We are just getting started!
