I
wanted to reach out with an update about my work in the Senate, it’s
been busy here in Washington.
Recently, I endorsed Speaker McCarthy’s
framework to limit spending, save taxpayer money, and grow the economy
outlined in a letter sent to President Biden regarding my support for a
fiscally-responsible, balanced budget.
Last year, I drafted my own
balanced budget proposal in the Senate – of which many of my core
policies are included in Speaker McCarthy’s current proposal.
Each and
every day I’m working on commonsense legislation and policies for
hardworking Hoosiers, to include:
• Student Loan Tax Elimination Act•
Following the COVID Origin Act being passed, calling on President Biden
to declassify all material for release• The Safe American Foods Exports
(SAFE) Act • Introduced legislation to prohibit the purchase of U.S.
farmland by those associated with adversarial foreign governments
(North Korea, China, Russia, Iran)
