That is Dan Knodl — the Republican candidate running in a special election against Democrat Jodi Habush Sinykin for the 8th district of the Wisconsin State Senate this Tuesday. And if he wins, he's considering impeaching Judge Janet if she is elected to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Here are the stakes of this State Senate special election:

If Knodl is elected this Tuesday, the Wisconsin Senate Republicans will have a supermajority that will give them the power to impeach state officials, including Judge Janet, and override Governor Evers’ veto.

If we elect his Democratic opponent, Jodi Habush Sinykin, we can block the Republican supermajority and protect Judge Janet from the threat of impeachment.

Under no circumstance can we let Dan Knold win his race on April 4th and allow the Senate Republicans a supermajority.

So it’s time we put our full force behind Democratic candidate Jodi Habush Sinykin, who, if elected, will not only prevent the supermajority from falling into the hands of Republicans and prevent them from abusing their power, but protect the vote and voice of Wisconsinites.
