"He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me."

– 2 Samuel 22:20
Africa & Europe
In Kenya, IJM just completed a week-long workshop for stakeholders on police accountability. These partners developed tools including standard operating procedures on investigation and prosecution of serious human rights violations by police officers. Pray for the nationwide training on these topics that will follow for prosecutors and investigators responsible for investigating police abuses.
Latin America
Praise God for a panel co-hosted by IJM and UN Women on the topic of "Women’s Access to Justice and Trauma-Informed Care." The panelists included four IJM experts from across the region and offered a snapshot of the region’s current challenges and four key recommendations to improve access to justice in the region. Please continue to pray for IJM and its trained partners who provide services to survivors of violence and work alongside public justice officials to improve their responses to violence against women and girls in Latin America.
South Asia
Please pray we can find strong new media partners to help us raise awareness of human trafficking. We are hoping to find compassionate journalists who want to profile these issues with precision and heart. Many news agencies have competing priorities or lack resources to cover trafficking issues in-depth. Pray we can build relationships with talented journalists this month to help us move the ball forward.
Asia Pacific
Praise God for a coalition of civil society organizations standing up against the online sexual exploitation of children! In 2022, the European Commission issued a proposal to protect children from online sexual abuse through strengthening protection mechanisms online. IJM jointly signed a letter: ‘for this legislation to really be effective in protecting children from sexual abuse, EU decision-makers need to ensure the new EU Regulation covers detection of known Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), unknown CSAM and grooming.’ Pray that early detection, coupled with robust reporting, will help law enforcement identify and rescue thousands of vulnerable children before they suffer years of abuse.
IJM Global Office & Partners
The IJM global office is located in the United States. IJM has Partner Offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

As our offices prepare for financial uncertainty on the horizon, please pray for all teams impacted. In an effort to steward our resources wisely, teams across the organization have undergone several rounds of budget updates. Please pray for guidance in how to best move forward with projects, and for the Lord to cushion IJM and its work from the effects of potential economic hardships.

The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them, please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
