April Fools Day is a day filled with tricks and deception – but that’s every day for the GOP. Just look at the Republican response when President Biden called them out for wanting to gut Social Security and Medicare: they lied to our faces and claimed they never wanted to do it – even though we have them on tape.
The GOP is up to their ears in lies. Extremist MAGA Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene gain power by spreading baseless conspiracy theories like denying the 2020 election and casting doubt on the effectiveness of COVID vaccines.
And to make matters worse, Marjorie Taylor Greene has risen to the top of the GOP – she’s even being considered as a potential VP pick for Donald Trump!
