Friend, I've just returned from the White House where President Trump signed the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement into law! As a member of the USMCA whip team, I was proud to serve on the group that helped advance this critical trade deal through Congress. By signing it, the president has kept yet another promise to renegotiate NAFTA and opened the door to more markets and new jobs for Kansas farmers, manufacturers and workers. As our state relies on trade with both Canada and Mexico, I can think of no better birthday gift as we celebrate Kansas Day! Our state was founded 159 years ago today. In that time, we've become the breadbasket of America and the Air Capital of the World.
