Floor Presentation
Rep. Matsumoto hosted a floor presentation this week. Congratulations to the Mililani HS Athletes for their outstanding performance over the years claiming many team and individual State titles. At the State Capitol, nearly 300 athletes were honored and 5 State Champions were honored on the floor. Representative Lauren Matsumoto attended Mililani HS and participated in multiple sports too. Go Trojans!

Ethics Bills Signed into Law
Today Representatives Matsumoto and Garcia attended the bill-signing ceremony in the Governor's office to ensure that the Hawaii State Legislature is held to a higher standard of conduct. This included several government reform topics with hopes for more in the future. Waialua Elementary
Rep. Matsumoto's former district elementary school came to the capitol this week for a tour. She was happy to chat with the students for a bit as they learned about the history of the building and the legislative process.

Waipahu Town Hall

Representative Alcos joined Mayor Blangiardi for his Town Hall in Waipahu this week. Among several topics of discussion was advocating for a racetrack in Kalaeloa.

Fentanyl Town Hall

Representative Garcia hosted a town hall meeting to discuss the growing issue of fentanyl in Hawaii. An HPD Narcotics officer spoke about the issue and how we can protect our communities and keiki from the rise of fentanyl use.
Mililani Town Hall
Join Rep. Matsumoto Monday, April 10, from 6:30-8:00PM at Mililani District Park Hall for an update on bills moving through the legislative session and address issues facing the Mililani community.

Both Sides of the Aisle
Rep. Pierick has been featured in the news several times this week includingFox News ([link removed]) . Just last night did a great job defending the 2^nd Amendment on PBS last night. Representative Ward began a new radio show with Former Republican State Senator Sam Slom titled "Let's Debate It!" Join in on the debate about local, national, and international topics every Tuesday from 5pm-6pm on TheAnswerHawaii.com ([link removed]) or
