Before you jump into weekend mode, I’m reaching out one last time about our important end-of-quarter goal. In just a few hours, the FEC’s quarterly deadline will be here and whatever we’ve raised will be final.

And team, we are so close to the finish line. If you can, no matter if it’s $5 or $50, any amount you’d give tonight would help our campaign tremendously.

Let me take a moment to remind you why this goal matters.

• This goal is designed to give us the best possible head start at keeping AL-07 blue and defeating any far-right Republican opponent who runs against me.


• The Black Belt deserves representation from someone who claims its roots and speaks its truth to power. I've been fighting for working people and our rights in Congress, and reaching this goal will help me continue that work.


• Kevin McCarthy and his GOP allies are drooling over the idea of flipping my seat. If they find out we fell short of our goal, they’ll double down on their efforts to unseat me.
