Hi Friend,
As the cherry blossoms bloom and the Tidal Basin becomes a sea of pink, it's impossible not to feel a sense of renewal and growth here in D.C. I know that a lot of our No Labels team members joined folks from all over the world to check out the trees, which around here signal the start of a beautiful new spring.
Speaking of new beginnings, the whole team is so excited to have entrepreneur, thought leader, change agent and philanthropist John Hope Bryant officially on board as our new national vice chair. In case you missed it, we had an amazing welcoming ceremony this week where we celebrated John and the growth of No Labels. Please check it out here!
On a more serious note, despite all the beauty and optimism blossoming around us, we're facing some headwinds nowadays. Our efforts to secure ballot access for the possibility of a moderate independent ticket has been met with resistance from the Arizona Democratic Party. We obtained official ballot access three and a half weeks ago in Arizona, but now the Democrats have responded with a lawsuit aimed at trying to revoke that status for the 2024 presidential election. This attempt to restrict voter suppression and block our ballot access is undemocratic and un-American.
But at No Labels we are not going to let this intimidate us. And you can help us by letting them know that you will not stand for it. Please:
- Email them with your disgust:
- Call them and voice your frustrations:
- Flood their Facebook page with questions about why they’re trying to silence voters:
- Tweet at them about how undemocratic this lawsuit is:
With your support, we won’t let them get away with this.
Beyond letting the Arizona Democrats know exactly how you feel, you can also help out by donating to No Labels 2024. Our convention will be taking place next year in Dallas, Texas. This gathering will unite thousands of members of the No Labels community to potentially kick off an independent presidential campaign and send a powerful message to both parties that we're here, we're blooming, and we're ready to make a difference.
Together, let's embrace the spirit of the cherry blossoms and work towards a brighter future for our nation.
Thanks,
Margaret White
