Tonight is a big night – it’s our first public fundraising deadline of 2023.

In 2022, we held the majority in the Senate, but the work has already begun for 2024. The GOP are increasing their resources and lining up candidates to win key races. Mitch McConnell and the Republican Party have proven they will stop at nothing to take back the Senate in 2024.

Our fundraising numbers are about to become a matter of public record. If we fall short of our goal, Republicans are going to undoubtedly pounce on this opportunity. We can’t let this happen. So ahead of our first end-of-quarter deadline, I want to personally ask you to chip in $5 or whatever you can spare to help us put up strong fundraising numbers when they go public.

Senate Democrats have been delivering jobs, lowering the cost of prescriptions, investing in critical infrastructure, and fighting for climate protections for the American people. If the GOP takes the majority, our critical work would come to a halt. Access to abortions, affordable healthcare, the future of our climate, and our communities’ safety will all be on the line.

And truthfully, we’re not in a great spot. We’re still $2,200 short of our end-of-quarter goal.
