Team, I wanted to make sure that this email was at the top of your inbox tonight. You see, I just got a text from Lexie, our team’s finance director, and we're still $287 short of our urgent FEC end-of-quarter goal.

With the Senate GOP just two seats shy of a majority and Wisconsin Republicans emboldened like never before, missing goals like this one simply isn't an option.

You see, after we close the books on this deadline, our fundraising numbers will go public for the first time this year. And with a Senate seat up for grabs, I’m sure Mitch McConnell and his GOP donors will be watching our numbers closely. If we look weak, I fear the right-wing attacks will begin to roll in.

With so much work still ahead of us, it's really important that we close the gap and meet our goal before midnight.
