In a moment, I’m going to make a personal request for you to chip in tonight before our midnight end-of-quarter deadline. But first, let me explain the importance of the moment we’re in.

This deadline tonight marks the very first public reporting deadline of the election cycle, where soon after our fundraising numbers will be published by the Federal Election Commission (FEC) for everyone to see.

These FEC reports can significantly impact the course of campaigns. Posting strong fundraising totals, combined with a large base of grassroots donors, shows our strength in numbers.

That could deter outside spending from dark money groups and the GOP. At the same time, showing any signs of vulnerability could actually invite attacks from the right.

We set these goals in advance so we can file the strongest fundraising report possible. But right now, we’re only 85% of the way toward that goal — which is why I’m personally asking for your help tonight.

Grassroots support has an outsized impact in the fight against MAGA extremism. With your help, we’ll have the resources to respond to any GOP attacks against vulnerable Democrats, continue organizing for progressive change, and double down our efforts to lift up other progressives running for office across the country.

When the stakes are this high, every dollar really counts.
