What if I reminded you that Kevin McCarthy kicked me off the House
Intelligence Committee that I have chaired and served as the top Democrat
for years — the day before we announced this campaign? And that he did so
without putting it to a vote of the House.

Or that Matt Gaetz filed legislation in the House the day we announced to
prevent me from receiving classified information — and called it the
PENCIL Act, a reference to the far right’s many “pencil neck” attacks
against me?

What if I told you how Trump attacked me yet again from the stage at CPAC?

Or that Tucker Carlson is attacking me virtually every week on his
primetime Fox News show?

Or that Kevin McCarthy is instructing the California Republican Party that
I can “never” become California’s Senator?

Or even that the lying Congressman George Santos’ campaign treasurer
incorporated a Super PAC called Stop ADAM PAC to explicitly stop this
campaign?

The bottom line is that the most powerful MAGA forces in the Republican
Party are conspiring to attack me and keep me out of the Senate — because
they are terrified of the accountability I will bring to that body, the
last refuge of Trump’s biggest enablers and most supplicant acolytes.

MAGA world does not get to decide who represents California in the U.S.
