Being in the hospital can feel scary for a child, but we work to make Children's Hospital Los Angeles a welcoming, safe place. Our Child Life team focuses on helping patients and their families reduce stress and anxiety and have a more positive experience—whether through play with toy stethoscopes, syringes and bandages so kids become more familiar with the medical environment, or by accompanying them to a procedure.
