Hi John. I hope you and your family are well!
My team and I just scheduled several local events throughout April to help Kansans. So today, I wanted to pass along a quick note to share what’s coming up. My job is to serve every person and corner of our community, regardless of party, so I hope they can help you or a loved one.
Please free to forward this message to anyone you know so they can get help too.

Help for Taxpayers
It's that time of year again – tax season. I know this can be a stressful time for some local taxpayers and small business owners. Please know that we're here to assist if you're facing issues with the IRS or need resources.
That's why we're hosting new Taxpayer Assistance Office Hours so people can get help. Please click here to learn more and RSVP.
At our Taxpayer Assistance Office Hours, an expert from our local and independent Taxpayer Advocate Service will be on hand to help. A representative from the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic will also be on hand to assist if you meet their criteria.
These specialists will be available to discuss how they may be able to provide free services to resolve issues with the IRS that you haven't been able to resolve on your own. That may include help with stalled refunds, audits, appeals, other tax collection disputes, and more.
In addition, please also know that my team is here to assist with IRS related issues too, as we are with all federal agencies. If you’re running into trouble, please contact us at (913) 621-0832.

2023 Congressional Art Competition
Do you know a high school artist? My office is once again participating in the annual Congressional Art Competition!
This competition is open to all high school students who live in Kansas’ Third District. The winning artwork will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. The artist will also be recognized at a ceremony in Washington, D.C.
Please click here to learn more on my website. Participants must enter their submissions by April 27th!
2022 Congressional Art Competition winner is Elijah Kumin from Olathe NW High School
Kansas-themed artwork is encouraged, but all original artwork that meets the guidelines is welcome. I look forward to seeing this year’s submissions and walking past one in the U.S. Capitol later this year.
It's an incredible honor to serve you and your family in the U.S House of Representatives. Whether we agree on every issue or not is beside the point. Everyone deserves a government that works for them - not just special interests, big corporations, or the extremes of either party.
If you have any questions or would like to share your views, please feel free to contact me. And remember, you can always visit davids.house.gov/lowercosts to find cheaper local gas stations or find help with health care, housing, billing assistance, and more.
My warmest regards,
Sharice L. Davids Member of Congress
