my fellow Boricua, María Quiñones Sánchez.

Maria has dedicated her life to empowering her neighbors and fighting for
grassroots social change in her community. In 2007, she made history as
the first Puerto Rican woman elected to a Philadelphia City Council
district — and she hasn't stopped making an impact since.

Maria's primary election is less than two months away, and we need your
