Dear John,
Yesterday, Judy reintroduced the Women's Health Protection Act for the seventh time — because she's not going to give up until we secure the right to abortion care for everyone who needs it.
There's no denying that it's been a hard year for reproductive rights. Anti-abortion extremists have used legislatures, courts, and ballot initiatives to attempt to deny millions of people access to critical healthcare. But at the same time, we've seen our movement come together in remarkable ways.
Voters defended abortion rights in Michigan, Kansas, California, and more; abortion rights advocates have been elected to office up and down the ballot; the Biden-Harris Administration has made reproductive rights a top priority; and yesterday, with nearly unanimous Democratic support, Judy moved to codify the federal right to abortion.
We can win this fight. We can create a future where healthcare decisions are between patients and doctors. We can ensure that millions of people have control over their own bodies. But we can't do it alone.
We know what's possible — and we want you to be a part of getting there.
Together,
Team Judy
