Friend, the best part of this campaign is the time I get to spend talking to people whose life stories couldn’t be more different, but who are all united by a common purpose: taking back our democracy this November.

This is the stage of the campaign when we build faith and trust with Kentuckians one conversation at a time—and I wanted to give you a little photo tour of the on-the-ground outreach you’re making possible.

This month, I spent time at the Shake Rag Barbershop in Bowling Green, a new business that aims to not only revitalize a historic district, but also to grow into a vibrant hub for conversation and community building.

I stopped by Harold White Lumber in Morehead, one of many businesses across our state suffering the impact of this administration’s trade wars, which have driven wood exports to China down by 42% nationwide.

And I appreciated my time with community leaders in Ashland, where there’s incredible energy on the ground for rebuilding our politics to center on people, not special interests.

There’s no substitute for getting out into communities across our state and listening to what Kentuckians truly want and need from their representatives—something Mitch has forgotten over 35 years of entrenchment in D.C. I intend to keep building this campaign around conversations just like these, but doing that will require a team effort.

This week, we’re facing the first fundraising deadline of the election year. Will you chip in to keep growing this operation across all 120 counties of our state?
