John, Donald Trump was indicted last night on criminal charges in the state of New York – a huge win for accountability in our democracy.

Trump is SUPPOSED to surrender to authorities on Tuesday, but our least favorite fascist governor has given him a way out:

If Trump won’t leave Mar-a-Lago on his own accord, Ron DeSantis claims he would REFUSE to cooperate with an extradition request from New York – a blatant violation of our Constitution.

You can’t say you’re defending the “rule of law” when your promises actively violate it. It’s clear this is just about power, and there is no limit to how far DeSantis will go to increase his political power. That’s why I need your help to stand up to him and his fascist agenda.
