Tell senators to support this bill and save these beautiful butterflies.
John,
Monarch butterflies are legendary for their vibrant colors and epic migration — a journey of more than 2,000 miles made by animals weighing less than a gram.
Once a familiar site, now these iconic pollinators are plummeting toward extinction due to pesticides, development and climate change. Western monarchs — who spend winters in California — have suffered a heartbreaking 90% decline. This winter, one storm wiped out half their population. If we want future generations to witness these butterflies’ beauty, we need to act now. A bold piece of legislation called the MONARCH Act could give these beloved butterflies a fighting chance at survival. The bill would fund on-the-ground conservation projects to save western monarchs.
