A
political party is simply defined as a group of individuals who
organize to win elections, operate the government, and influence
public policy. What that simple definition fails to capture are the
countless hours, triumphs and tears, and lives affected by the
party.
On this
last day of March, we wind down our Forward March sustaining donor campaign. Over the course
of the last few weeks, our goal was to give you a sense of the amazing
group of individuals organizing across the country to deliver a
new and better politics for us all. We’ve shared with you our
goals for the year and our plan for moving America Forward together.
Through this process, we hope to have introduced you to a more
optimistic vision of what politics in our country can look like. And
yes, we hope we’ve inspired you to throw a little cash our way,
too.
At the
end of the day, though, we hope we’ve shown you how passionate we are
to make a positive difference in the lives of our friends, our
families, our neighbors, our coworkers—and for you. Your
energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to making the United States an even
better place to live, work, learn, and play is what motivates us to
get out of bed and do this work every day.
You are
the heart and spirit of the Forward Party. Thank you for joining us on
this transformational journey.
