John,
While Donald Trump was being indicted by a grand jury in NYC yesterday, what was Chicago mayoral candidate Paul Vallas up to?
He was:
• Continuing to add to the $1.1 million he's already raised from Trump mega-donors,1
• Getting fresh support from a SuperPAC run by Trump’s Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos,2
• Refusing to reject the endorsement of the same Chicago police union that backed Trump in 2020 and a few days ago threatened “blood in the streets” if Vallas were to lose,3
• And even reportedly receiving the vocal in-person support of a January 6th insurrectionist.4
We are proud to be working to elect Brandon Johnson as the next Mayor of Chicago because he is building a coalition that will fight for all of us — and all the latest polling shows that we can defeat MAGA forces and Republican big money in this race if we turn out our voters from now through Election Day on Tuesday.
Can you chip in any amount to help elect Brandon Johnson and defeat MAGA candidates everywhere this year? The first quarterly FEC deadline of the year is tonight, and it couldn’t come at a more crucial moment.

We can’t let MAGA candidates like this win in Chicago, Wisconsin, or anywhere.
And while they have the billionaires and extremists on their side, we have people power on ours.
Your grassroots contribution of any amount — combined with contributions from thousands of others — will help us win on Tuesday and make sure we can continue reaching voters in critical races like these throughout 2023.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
