This year, more than 400 anti-LGBTQ bills, many that are specifically anti-trans, have surfaced across the country. 86% of trans and nonbinary youth say that state laws restricting the rights of LGBTQ young people have negatively impacted their mental health. This makes our work that much more important; and it makes our supporters even more valuable. At The Trevor Project, we work tirelessly to fight against state and federal bills that discriminate against LGBTQ young people in an effort to protect their rights and mental health.
