The Act would specifically prohibit anyone owned by, controlled by, or subject to the jurisdiction or direction of a foreign adversary from leasing or purchasing public or private agricultural land on United States soil. Namely, China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea – countries designated as serious national security threats to America.
