John,

Today, on Trans Day of Visibility, we celebrate trans joy and redouble our
commitments to uplift this community in the face of unrelenting attacks on
our trans family.

In January, ACLU data revealed that Missouri Republicans have proposed
more anti-LGBTQIA2S+ legislation than any other state in the country. It's
appalling.

As a healthcare professional, I know gender-affirming care is health care,
and stand with the leading medical organizations and studies that show it
is a medical necessity for our trans youth.

Unfortunately, trans Missourians aren't alone. From Florida, to Indiana,
Iowa to Kentucky — to center stage this month at a major conservative
event in Washington, DC — the far right are targeting the LGBTQIA2S+
community, especially our trans family members, with vitriol. The
disturbing trend of anti-LGBTQIA2S+ extremism must not go unchecked.

There is a real life-or-death impact of the Republican's obsessive attacks
on the LGBTQIA2S+ community through legislation that attempts to
criminalize vulnerable students, parents, health care providers, and
members of the trans community.

And when the GOP couldn't get certain bills passed in Congress, they
shifted their focus toward fear-mongering ballot initiatives — seeking to
dismantle our rights one state at a time.

In Congress, I'm advancing legislation to ease the unnecessary burden
placed on the LGBTQIA2S+ community, like: eviction relief, passing The
Unhoused Bill of Rights, and ending the racist, homophobic, and
transphobic discriminatory housing policies and practices in place at the
city, state, and national level.

word about the issues and our proposed solutions with a contribution of
$5 today.

Remember: today and every day, your Congresswoman loves you,

Cori
