Running for office in this country shouldn’t be about politics. It should be about people.
The issues folks in our communities are facing are not stump speeches. Yet we have a political party in power that is more focused on stripping rights away from people and sowing division than governing to support them.
If the GOP would take a second to stop worrying about ‘us vs. them’ they might notice that we need better education. And better access to affordable housing. And better access to healthcare and child care. These aren’t political issues. These are basic human issues.
Which is why it’s critical that we do absolutely everything in our power to elect more Democrats and take back the power to get things done.
