Friend,
Did you see the email below? Here’s a short recap of what you need to know:
1. The FDA found extremely high, and in some cases illegal, levels of cancer-linked glyphosate on chickpeas, lentils, beans and oats.
2. Big Ag-backed front groups are stepping up their attacks on EWG, accusing us of “distortion” and calling our activism “evil.”
3. EWG is running dangerously short of the funds we need to continue protecting your health from toxic pesticides.
We can’t keep up our work protecting your health and fighting industry attacks without your support. I need to give EWG’s finance team a report on our Stop Pesticide Pollution fundraising numbers, but we’re not quite at our goal. We could really use your help right now. Any amount – no matter how small – can make a difference.

Do you trust EWG – or do you trust pesticide companies, friend?
Big Ag front groups have been attacking EWG’s work non-stop. They are threatened by our work on the Dirty Dozen™ and glyphosate in cereals.
A Bayer-funded group has called our work on glyphosate “deception.” The Alliance for Food and Farming has called it “fake news,” “unsupportable,” and “inaccurate.”
That’s absurd!
Here’s what they really mean: They want pesticide companies to protect their bottom line – not our health.
EWG won’t be silenced, but we can't take any chances – these pesticide companies can be ruthless when their profits are threatened. We’ll continue to tell you the truth about toxic pesticides, but right now we’re falling short of our fundraising goals. We urgently need your help to fight back against Big Ag.
We set a goal to raise $100K by March 31 for our Stop Pesticide Pollution Campaign, so we can fight these attacks and continue our work.
Can we count on you to make a tax-deductible donation right now? It takes two minutes, and any amount can make a difference. Plus, if you donate $15 or more, we’ll send you our brand-new Shopper's Guide to Pesticides in Produce™ bag tag as a thank-you!

That’s what makes EWG’s work so important: Our goal is to tell consumers the truth about the pesticide industry. Just look at what we’re working on now:
* Fighting continued attacks against our pesticide work. AFF attacked our Dirty Dozen list BEFORE it was even released.
* Shedding light on the presence of toxic pesticides in our food. EWG has conducted tests that detected glyphosate in oat-based cereals and hummus.
* Preventing the EPA from declaring pesticides like glyphosate and atrazine as safe.
Your donation today will go directly toward our pesticide work. But if we don’t hit our $100K fundraising goal, we won’t be able to fight off the attacks.
We just need $15 from individuals like you. It takes two minutes to donate and will have a huge impact. And we’ll send you our new Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides in Produce™ bag tag!
