Let me explain why we’re asking for your support now: When you’re running for office, there really aren’t any off-years — especially when you’re a member of the House.
Every single member of the House will be up for re-election next year, including Congressman Bishop. And as a part of the delegation representing Georgia — a critical swing state in 2024 — we’re preparing for a slew of attacks, dark money, and challenges from the other side in an attempt to stall Democratic progress here.
Because Georgia went blue in 2020 to elect President Joe Biden and Senators Warnock and Ossoff, we accomplished a lot: the American Rescue Plan, Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, CHIPS and Science Act, Inflation Reduction Act, and more.
With the flipping of the House in 2022, Republicans are going to try their best for a Republican trifecta in 2024.
