We’ve commissioned another huge MRP poll of over 6,000 people.

Many of the findings are what we’ve always suspected, but rarely get talked about.

It confirms that voters want a much closer relationship to our European neighbours than many commentators think.

People are very willing to offer Europeans the right to live, work and study here when that right is reciprocated.  

57% of people believe Britain should offer EU citizens the freedom of movement if the same offer is extended to British citizens living abroad.

Around two thirds (63%) of people supported free movement if certain restrictions, under EU law, were in place.

And among Conservative voters, support for free movement was higher than average!

Interestingly, there is no regional bias in our findings. When freedom of movement is correctly framed as mutually beneficial and reciprocal, there is no difference of opinion between Redcar and Redbridge.

If you’ve been listening to the rhetoric surrounding Brexit, you’d be forgiven for being surprised.

But Best for Britain is committed to rational and data-led politics. We’ve always known that when the facts are clear and the analysis is honest, people will see through the Brexit make-believe.

Tory voters are increasingly doing so. According to our research, 81% think the NHS is under threat from the upcoming trade negotiations with America.

We believe that the U.K is at heart an open and compassionate nation. We think arming our citizens and policy makers with the real facts and information is the best way to get back on track.
