Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) is taking a courageous stand <[link removed]> to defend life, and end the Department of Defense’s (DOD) radical abortion-for-all policy. America needs more Senators to stand alongside him in this fight.

A new DOD policy supported by President Biden is using your taxpayer dollars to fund abortions.

The U.S. military exists to ensure our nation’s security and protect the lives of the future generations of American citizens—not end them through the barbaric and evil practice of abortion. But the Biden administration has turned the DOD into an abortion travel agency.

Due to a policy announced by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on February 16th, American taxpayers are on the hook to cover non-chargeable paid time off, and travel costs for abortions for our military and their families. This would expand the policy to millions of people.

This not only tragically ends innocent unborn lives, it also goes beyond the law. Federal law permits the U.S. military to only provide abortions in very narrow circumstances, but unless Senators fight back, this policy will expand taxpayer-funded abortions and threaten the lives of thousands of unborn children.

How Senators Can Fight Back To fight this policy, Sen. Tuberville has pledged to place a hold on all DOD nominees. This is a very courageous stand. But we need more Senators to stand alongside him in this effort to end the Pentagon’s radical abortion-for-all policy. The Senate has an opportunity to force the Biden administration to protect the unborn, uphold the rule of law, and keep the Department of Defense focused on national security.
