We'll be direct:

Our team has set some very ambitious goals ahead of tonight's official FEC fundraising deadline, and when we launched our end-of-quarter push earlier this week, we honestly weren't sure if we were going to reach them or not.

But we hit send on our first batch of emails and texts — and so far, our movement has shown up in a big, big way.

First it was Frederick, a pilot from Baltimore who chipped in $27. A few seconds later, Nicholas in Winona, MN added $10 of their own. Then it was Carole, a social worker in Colorado with another $20… and we were off to the races.

We have a real chance of getting to where we need to be, but only if we have another big day today. We can't afford to slow down — which is why we have to ask:
