John – it's already the end of March.

To fight the onslaught of GOP money and close polling in the days before Election Day, my campaign took on debt. Pundits moved our race to a toss-up, and I was getting calls from other Senators concerned that we couldn’t win. 

We had to take on debt. The good news is that it worked, and we won.

That debt makes emails like this one extremely important. If we’re going to pay it down according to schedule, I need 32 people to donate to this email. I hope that I can count on you to be one of them. Folks like you typically give about $3, but I’d be grateful for any amount you can manage.
