Franny offers clues about her past… ([link removed])

Friend,

The way Franny gobbles her meals and is skittish when taking a drink suggest that food and water were scarce in her earlier life. She’s wary of men and doesn’t like people carrying large objects near her.

Still, this beagle has come so far from her heartbreaking beginning at a facility where dogs were bred to be used for testing. Franny’s foster family decided to become her forever family, and in the months since, Franny is experiencing the joy of grass, fresh air, toys and a safe space on the couch—all for the first time.

But happy endings like Franny’s remind us there are millions more animals who still need our help. Will you please donate $20 today to help fight for the policies that can protect them from exploitation and abuse? ([link removed])

We know well the horrors of animal testing. During a Humane Society of the United States’ undercover investigation of a Michigan laboratory, investigators found that dogs were force-fed or injected with drugs and pesticides … dogs underwent invasive surgeries or had their jaws broken to test dental implants … and dogs were used by workers to practice procedures like blood collection.

Will you help stop such cruelty? Your support can make a difference for animals used in research, but also those on factory farms, puppy mills, and more. ([link removed])

Franny’s new life shows the impact of your kindness. Today she runs outside, follows new scents, and shows her inquisitive, courageous personality.

Franny is safe. But millions of animals aren’t.

You can help us fight for policies to protect animals from harm and give animals the happy lives they deserve. ([link removed])

Sincerely,
