Ok, – we’re going to jump right into some quick updates:

The bad news: With just a few hours left in the day, we’re still about $2,375 away from meeting our Spring Athlete Fund end-of-quarter fundraising goal of $30,000.

The good news: You can still make a gift tonight that will give more people with intellectual disabilities (ID) a place to thrive and a community where they are celebrated.

No gift is too small. Your gift brings more athletes off the sidelines and into the game. Please help us reach every person with ID who wants to join the Special Olympics community.

🌷TWO DAYS LEFT🌷 To Donate to the Spring Athlete Fund

With our end of quarter fundraising deadline quickly approaching, how can we convince you to make your very first contribution to Special Olympics before midnight on March 31? 1. What if we told you we’ve already raised $12,672, meaning we’re just $17,328 away from reaching our goal? Your gift will help us ensure that every athlete has access to the equipment, space, and community they need to shine on and off the field. Donate now >> [link removed]

2. What if we told you that YOUR gift will help put equipment in the hands of an athlete who is currently sitting on the sidelines? Donate now >> [link removed]

3. What if we reminded you that for every Special Olympics athlete, there are over a dozen more people with intellectual disabilities (ID) waiting on the sidelines who need our help right away? Donate now >> [link removed]

It’s this simple: The more you can give, the closer you get us to that $30,000 goal, which will help change more athletes’ lives FOREVER. How do we know? Because of athletes like Tyrone Hicks.

Tyrone was born with cerebral palsy and told he would likely never walk, let alone play sports. But with the support of Special Olympics — in particular his father, “Coach Hicks” — Tyrone spoke his first words at 3 and started walking without assistance at age 10.

And now? Tyrone’s determination has allowed him to accomplish anything he sets his mind to, including scoring game-winning touchdowns and speaking publicly at Special Olympics’ 2022 USA Games closing ceremony. Wow! Tyrone never stops fighting — for himself or for others.

You can help millions of athletes like Tyrone find their voice, their passion, and their community. When you give $ or more by March 31, your gift will help athletes have an impact both on and off the field.
