To stop taxpayer-funded animal experiments, we must first stop wasteful government spending. To receive fewer emails from White Coat Waste Project, please adjust your preferences.
Hi,
I need to make sure you saw the email below, though it isn’t easy to read.
Taxpayer, welcome to my world.
I'm the Manager of Research & Investigations for the White Coat Waste Project (WCW). Every single day, I uncover evidence of government animal abuse... and much, much worse than what you’ll find below.
It's unimaginable, really, the kind of pain these innocent kittens were forced to endure. I honestly don't want to think about it more than I already have to.
But I also spend much of my time searching for government payout deadlines for animal experiments like these. That's because we've learned the most effective way to shut them down is to block the funding BEFORE the abuse begins.
So, I can tell you this, Taxpayer: We can save the next 10 kittens from the same horrific fate by blocking payout #5R01NS097781 BEFORE the hard government DEADLINE in 15 HOURS.
Isn't that worth a few bucks? If you agree, please read my colleague’s email below and chip in just $5 or as much as you can afford.
Right now, we’re severely short of covering our budget goal. If we don’t make up the difference by midnight tonight, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) will do things to kittens that NO animal should ever endure.
So please, act now to save the NIH 10.
Thanks,
Daniel López Research & Investigations Manager White Coat Waste Project |
Taxpayer, I’m sounding the alarm.
IN 96 HOURS: our government may RAM THROUGH a new round of PARALYSIS and TREADMILL experiments on 10 kittens at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Taxpayer, if payout #5R01NS097781 is reauthorized, another 10 innocent kittens may die unnecessary, agonizing deaths. Here’s the protocol:
I know. It sounds like the works of a mad scientist in a bad horror movie.
But Taxpayer, it’s 100% real. And it’s 100% funded by your tax dollars.
PAYOUT #5R01NS097781: YEP. The NIH has already wasted over $2.9 MILLION on these sadistic kitten tests.
Now, they’re about to ask for another round of funding!
Our investigators just discovered that payout #5R01NS097781 may be rammed through at 11:59 pm on March 31!
But if we kill this grant, we can STOP the treadmill torture and SAVE 10 small kittens from slow, painful deaths in a laboratory basement… we’ve only got until Friday to do it.
Taxpayer: the most effective way to end a government experiment is to cut off the funding BEFORE it’s renewed. We know because we’ve done it before.
Thanks to your donations, our rapid response campaign shut down the Dept. of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) $5 million kitten suffocation experiments.
And remember the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s “Kitten Slaughterhouse”?
Thanks to your rapid response support, we also closed this $22 million lab and retired the survivors to loving homes… instead of being slaughtered and incinerated like 3,000 kittens were before.
MARCH 31 DEADLINE: Taxpayer with your generous support before Friday’s big deadline, we can do it again for the NIH 10!
Make no mistake: the White Coat Waste Project is the ONLY organization fighting to block payout #5R01NS097781 and save these kittens.
Isn’t that worth $5 – just 50 cents per NIH kitten?
So hopefully, you can see now why I’m writing with such urgency… and why this new campaign needs EMERGENCY funding.
TIME-SENSITIVE: We haven’t covered our rapid response budget. Not even close yet. You’re the only thing standing between the NIH 10 and certain torture and death.
Will you please rush your most generous donation to help us block this NIH payout?
Together we can end this treadmill nightmare… and save the NIH 10.
Please be generous,
Desiree Bender Campaign Manager White Coat Waste Project |
P.S. Taxpayer, THIS IS A HARD, GOVERNMENT DEADLINE: If we don’t kill payout #5R01NS097781 before March 31st, your tax dollars could fund these FATAL experiments for YEARS to come… and we can kiss the NIH 10 goodbye. So please, rush your most generous gift immediately to fund our emergency efforts!
