Sometimes it’s hard to understand what’s going on, but at the end of the day, it just goes down to one thing - political progressives are opposing commonsense.
The facts boil down to this:
- Democrats stood in the way as we tried to enact measures to combat antisemitism.
- Democrats stood in the way as we tried to repeal the disastrous California Gas Car Ban.
- Democrats stood in the way as we tried to protect Virginia’s communities by prosecuting fentanyl dealers.
- Democrats stood in the way as we tried to stop big tech companies from selling the data of our teenagers.
These were COMMONSENSE ideas, but Richmond liberals fought us every step of the way.
Prosecuting criminals, protecting the privacy of kids online, and repealing a dangerous, misinformed, and out-of-state law from taking root in Virginia have suddenly become contentious issues. Despite this setback, I’m not giving up fighting for Virginia, but I need some backup.
I made promises, and I intend to keep them - we will come back and try again — this cause is simply too important.
