Hey John— I’m Salima! I have the awesome job of serving as Helen’s Mobilization Director! My role is to make sure our team is mobilizing voters on every block in Philly to get out and vote for Helen.

There’s a TON of enthusiasm for Helen on the ground. Trust me, I’ve been working with campaigns here in Philly for a while and the energy is real. I hear all the time from our volunteers and voters that they’re supporting Helen because she’s strengthened our schools, stood up for Philly workers, helped launch the city’s first mobile health mental crisis unit, protected renters by cutting evictions nearly 70% – and those are only some of many good reasons to stand with Helen Gym this May.
