If your inbox is anything like mine, it’s filled with emails from politicians telling you that the sky will fall if you don’t give them money before a made-up deadline. I never want to do that to you – that’s why I’m sending you this email to break down tomorrow’s FEC filing deadline. It is very real, and very important. And while the sky won’t literally fall if we don’t hit our fundraising goal, we will be significantly disadvantaged in our competitiveness for 2024. (Really.) I owe it to my supporters to be real – and to do everything I can to put us in the best position to hold this seat we worked so hard to win.
With control of the House of Representatives hanging in the balance, I’m not willing to leave anything to chance – especially with experts agreeing that there’s no path to retaking the Democratic majority without holding this seat.

John, what we won here in 2022 is worth defending.
