Fellow Democrats, today marks an historic moment in the fight for justice and the rule of law in our country.
Former President Donald Trump was just indicted on charges related to the cover-up of his “hush money” payments made in the lead-up to the 2016 election.
Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer and “fixer,” pled guilty in 2018 to committing campaign finance violations in arranging these payments, admitted he did so on Trump’s behalf, and has already served prison time for these crimes.
No one is above the law.
It’s high time the investigation into the allegations against Trump is brought to fruition. Trump has tried to discredit attempts to hold him accountable, tried to intimidate prosecutors, and has encouraged his grassroots supporters and GOP officials to take to the streets to protest.
No one is above the law.
Fellow Democrats, it is absolutely vital to our democracy and the rule of law that criminals be held accountable, especially when their crimes help elevate them to positions of power over our nation. Can you chip in $10 or more today to help us defend our democracy against all who would seek to undermine it?

We are grateful for the diligent work of law enforcement officials who investigated and brought forth these charges, as well as the members of the grand jury who went forward with the indictment in spite of Trump's political allies’ uproar against following the law.
The charges against Trump are not for mere technicalities or political theater, but for deeply concerning attacks on our democracy.
We must stand firm in defense of the rule of law against those who would destroy our democracy. Will you donate $10 or more right now to help us prepare for the next election to defeat these far-right extremists who are planning to run for office?
