While we don’t expect the Senate will agree with every provision, it provides a strong starting point for bipartisan compromise. As bureaucracy, and a labyrinth of processes and lawsuits, hinder the development of all sources of energy, we are hopeful that permitting reform will be at the top of the list for negotiations.
