First Liberty and Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody just filed separate federal lawsuits to protect pregnancy resource centers against vandalism.
First Liberty represents Heartbeat of Miami, a faith-based pregnancy resource center that has endured unlawful acts of vandalism from Jane’s Revenge and its associates who deliberately damaged several pregnancy resource centers.
Our suit seeks to hold accountable two individuals who defaced and spray-painted Heartbeat’s property. The vandals also hacked their way into Heartbeat’s annual gala, where they shouted obscenities, disparaged their staff, volunteers, and supporters, and leafletted the venue with propaganda hoping to dissuade women from using Heartbeat’s services.
In the short video below, First Liberty’s Senior Counsel Jeremy Dys explains the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act and our case against Jane’s Revenge:

The law is clear: if you attempt to injure, intimidate, or interfere with access to a reproductive health facility—including those that save lives and protect women from abuse—you will be held accountable.
Life-affirming pregnancy resource centers provide critical and scarce resources—including baby formula, diapers, and clothing—for free to women in need across the country.
Women who seek this supportive care and the staff at these pregnancy resource centers should never fear for their lives or their safety.
Will you join First Liberty in defending Heartbeat of Miami and all faith-based pregnancy resource centers against vandalism and attacks?
