Friends, the fight for the future of the Supreme Court is a personal one for me. When I voted against confirming Justice Brett Kavanaugh, I knew it could mean losing my seat in the Senate. But I'd do it again in a heartbeat - because we just can't afford to put another far-right extremist on the bench.

So believe me when I say this: The most important race happening in 2020 is the race for Senate control - because whoever controls the Senate will decide the future of the Supreme Court.

More than a year later, I'm still doing everything I can to protect the Supreme Court and take back the Senate for Democrats - and right now, that means supporting Jeanne Shaheen.

The GOP knows that if it defeats her, Democrats will lose our chance to control the Senate and protect the future of the Supreme Court.
