John, the NC GOP did the gun lobby’s bidding AGAIN, proposing a dangerous bill to loosen gun safety laws. When Gov. Cooper vetoed their bill, we thought we’d won – but yesterday, 3 Democrats left the House chamber to “take a walk” while the GOP overrode his veto.

These “Democrats” in safe blue seats put the gun lobby ahead of the safety of our community, giving into the far-right’s legislative agenda.

Now is NOT the time for us to vote against the safety of our loved ones or dismantle the Democratic values we’ve been fighting tooth and nail to preserve. But it IS the time to support strong, progressive Democrats who won’t succumb to the GOP’s agenda – and we need your help to do it.
