Hi all,

It was great to see so many of you in-person and online! We missed those who couldn't make it, and hope you can attend next time. Thank you to our speakers Gabi and Jessica for sharing on Medicaid expansion and protecting Medicaid in the budget, respectively.

As a follow-up call to action, we have two sign-on opportunities acting to protect Medicaid to share with you.

New Sign On Opportunities

Families USA Letter to Congressional Leadership: No Medicaid Cuts. See full letter text and sign on HERE by Friday, April 14 at 5pm ET. Please join Families USA, alongside national and state partner organizations, in support of the critically important Medicaid program and to express our united opposition to any proposals to cut Medicaid funding as part of upcoming negotiations over the federal budget, debt limit, or any other legislative priorities.
Group Letter to HHS Secretary Becerra: Medicaid Unwinding. See full letter text and sign on HERE by Wednesday, April 12 at 5pm ET. Please join a group letter from civil rights groups and other stakeholders encouraging the Administration to hold states accountable throughout the Medicaid unwinding. Note that they are looking for sign-ons from national organizations only.

We'll be in touch before our next Coalition meeting, slated for late April. Take care!

Best,

Kevin
