MSHDA is anticipating receiving $20 million dollars in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. This allocation of funds will be dedicated towards housing within non-entitlement rural areas. CDBG funding for housing is anticipated to be made available through a competitive application process. Distribution of funding will begin once a formal substantial amendment to the Michigan Consolidated Plan is completed. We will utilize the survey results to assist in program development and design.
